Julie and David's Wedding!

Dan and I at the beautiful San Diego Temple!
Aren't they adorable?
We are all married now! Yay!
Going to the reception dinner

Julie finally decided to join the married club, and it's about time! Now we can talk about babies and blenders! :) We were able to attend Julie and Davids wedding in the San Diego Temple wednesday, and it was amazing! Julie looked absolutely beautiful, and I don't think I have ever seen her happier. They are so perfect for each other, we are so happy for them!

Megan and her husband Eric spent a few days with us before the wedding, and we had so much fun. We did some shopping, spent a day at the beach and rented some boogie boards (Megan and I made the fatal mistake of only wearing 4 SPF sunscreen- so we are both still dealing with the inevitable effects of that!) And played some extremely competitive games of frisbee golf, castle, spades and boggle. It was so great to spend time with them! We love it when people come and stay with us!! (hint hint!)

Saturday at the Beach!

Dan and I had a fun day on Saturday! The day began with an afternoon at Newport Beach- which was surprisingly not very crowded. Dan built us a pretty sweet fort complete with a sand wall to protect us from the tide, and sand seats that perfectly contorted to our bodies. There were a lot of compliments from passer-by-ers, and he must have started a new trend because we had quite a few people building their own forts around us, but of course they didn't compare to ours! Lol, way to go babe!

We also got lucky and saw a big group of dolphins close to the shore! It was VERY cool!

After our day at the beach, we saw Batman! It was pretty good- but not as amazing as everyone else seems to think it was! Just a little dark for me.... BUT we found a theater that only charges $6 for evenings- which is basically unheard of in California where the norm is $10.50! So it looks like we are going to start seeing movies more often! (We pretty much boycotted movies since we've lived here because $10.50 is just crazy talk!) And that makes Dan REALLY happy!!
